Editorial Policy
How tools are evaluated
Each tool is reviewed against the same checklist: pricing transparency, breadth of features, platform availability, documentation quality, and how clearly the vendor communicates data handling and privacy. We try each tool directly wherever access allows.
How pricing is verified
Pricing is checked directly on the vendor's own pricing page. Each tool page shows a “last verified” date — if you find pricing that doesn't match what the vendor currently shows, please let us know and we'll correct it.
How updates are handled
Tools are periodically re-checked. If a tool becomes unavailable or is discontinued, we don't silently delete the page — we mark it as no longer available and point readers to verified alternatives.
How comparisons are created
Every comparison states the criteria it evaluates before declaring a winner in any category, and a comparison can conclude that neither tool is better for every use case. We never publish a bare “X beats Y” verdict without the reasoning behind it.
How ratings are calculated
We do not publish star ratings or review counts unless we have a real, disclosed source for them. A tool page with no rating shown means we don't yet have reliable rating data — not that the tool is unrated in a negative sense.
How affiliate links work
Some outbound links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you sign up through them, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate status never influences which tools are included or how they're described. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
